Guess what mission is getting Ipads!!!!!!!! I am so stoked I can hardly explain it. Yesterday we had a mission conference where two members from the quorum of the seventy came to speak with us about it. It was so cool and so enlightening! I think the message that stood out to me the most was when they explained to us the "why" behind the hastening of the work. They told us they didn't change the age where missionaries can serve missions to have more baptisms or more missionaries. They aren't giving us Ipads to raise numbers. They are doing it to teach us how to be better disciples of Christ sooner. I thought that they would focus on how to use the Ipads, but they focused on the "why". They want us to learn while we are young and on missions how to be agents to technology rather than objects. It was so cool! After I was jumping and skipping all around because I was just so excited. My comp was having a good laugh :) Also, how cool does this sound? When an appointment falls through and you don't know what to do, the app will have a "idea" button it will look through that Area Book app of people you have taught. It will then pull up a whole list of options of people you can visit near you. Can it get any better than that?!
We visited Nery this week and set a time when we will be going to the temple with her to do baptisms! We are really excited. (For the temple. and also the fact that we are going to Cafe Rio ;) )
"Joy always comes after sorrow." Always remember this! Through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can always have hope for better days ahead. The atonement is always working in our lives making us stronger. We are never alone. If we do, then we need to reach out and serve others! If we do that, we will for sure feel His love in our lives.
Have an amazing week! Love you guys sooo much!
