Merry christmassss! 12-28-2015
My dear family! Wow it was so so good to talk to all of you! You brought so much joy. I still can't believe you were all working out together when I called, I have the cutest family. Seeing your faces all at once brought an overwhelming joy. (As you probably noticed.) Tears of joy are the best tears. Such joy. I got to experience tears of joy another time that Christmas Day. Christmas Eve night I received a text right after I said a little prayer for help. The Zetino Family texted me and told me that they wanted to drive down to Nogales to see me if it were allowed. I quickly texted President and he replied, "Claro que si!" So at ten o clock Christmas morning I saw the Zetinos pull into the parking lot. I rushed to Hermana Zetino and gave her a big hug. We just held each other as I heard and felt her tears on my shoulder. Tears filled mine and I heard the spirit clearly say, "This is the true meaning of Christmas." Hermano Zetino had such a different appearance, I just love seeing the difference of people before and after baptism. They told me how he was a Ward missionary now and she was the relief society teacher! Hermano Zetino had received the priesthood and was able to baptize their son, Ricardo. They are working towards getting sealed in the temple. What joy! Last night we received another Christmas gift from our Heavenly Father and found a new investigator! We had to drive way into the middle of no where to find this house. It was night time so it was kind of sketchy. As soon as we pulled into the driveway we felt this warmth and knew we were supposed to be there. It is a part member family, and The father is inactive. His wife isn't a member. We walked into the house and guess how many dogs they have? Over a hundred! (62 females) And the best part was that they had a little toy poodle puppy. Yes, I held that puppy during the whole lesson. :) he is a big hunter so his room was covered with all sorts of animals. A little creepy in my opinion. But he had brought back a lot of stuff from his hunting trips to South Africa! Including a stuffed leopard and a zebra skin. Don't know if that's legal, but hey we just go with it. I should of shared the story when dad killed the leopard with his bare hands... But yes the lesson was great and his wife was very excited that we are going to start teaching her! Christmas miracles are still happening in Nogales. :) Christmas truly is the best in the mission. My heart was filled with gratitude for the family I have been blessed with and filled with the love of the Savior as we were able to go and help others have a wonderful Christmas! Love you all so much and miss you too!
