Ghiovannis baptism! He is absolutely awesome! He is learning to read. We are actually going to be headed to the Mesa Temple with our ward on the 21st with his wife. She is preparing to be sealed to her family soon! Yay for the temple and eternal families!

This week I had some powerful experiences that I will never forget. This week one of our ward missionaries, Sam Martinez (she is the BOMB. she goes out with us all the time and is preparing to go on a mission) got her wisdom teeth out. We went over to bring her some ice cream and prepared a little message. When we got over there she was in a lot of pain and we didnt really know what to do. We just asked if we could say a prayer with her. I was blessed to offer the prayer and wow. I will never forget that feeling. Never have I felt the mantle of a missionary so heavy yet as a missionary. I was brought to tears as I felt so strongly and prompted to bless her with certain things. I really felt that there were spirits waiting for her to bring them the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is going to be such an amazing missionary! We had the lesson after and we all left in tears. The spirit was so thick. When we have the spirit with us, that is when we can be the most effective tools. What can you all do to invite the spirit more in your lives?
Yesterday we had three of our investigadores come to church! It was really solid! We are working with a girl. Her name is Anna :) She has really gone through some hard things but wants to make the change. She has a baptism date, but it is going to take a lot of work to get there. I hope the Lord can bless this situation and give her the strength to make the change that she needs. I know the gospel will change her life in the way that she wants.
Something so cool about Arizona!! So we have an apartment complex in our area that we visit a lot. We have a couple investigadores, menos activos, y miembros alli! We are starting to find SO many people from Africa. The cutest little kids. And there are A LOT. One of our investigators is actually from Northern Africa and speaks spanish. He is a seventh day adventist so that is going to be interesting. But yeah we love talking to them. It reminds me of my african heritage and of Anna :) The other day we were talking to a little boy from Kongo. He couldnt really communicate with us. And it was hard to see him so down about it. An ice cream truck passed right then so I chased it down and was able to buy him and his sister some ice cream! I asked President Passey this week if maybe once a week we can go and teach them english. I sure hope we can!
Well I love you family! Hope everything is going well!
