Hello my dear family! I hope you are all doing so well and enjoying this amazing Christmas season:) So Wednesday morning Hermana Baum and I had a little adventure. It was a rough morning. Earlier that week we had bought some Christmas fudge in the holiday section with the idea of making it for some members. Wednesday morning we were a little down so, the thought came to me that it was time to make that fudge and listen to some Christmas carols! It brightened the morning up a bit. Later during lunch I was cutting the fudge and putting them into cute little wrappers. As I cut, and cut, and cut, and cut, I began to think "Is it just me or did my little box of fudge just become the baskets of bread and fishes passed out to the 5000?" We had over 100 pieces of fudge! The previous day we had a zone conference and were challenged to use our creative ideas for the holidays! Well as we looked at all this fudge, an idea came! We decided to pass them out in a store parking lot while handing out #ASaviorIsBorn pass along cards! I mean who would turn down free Christmas fudge and a Christmas card from two blonde girls speaking Spanish? It was such a success! One girl we started talking to had even been looking up the direction on our church building! Her husband was a member, but she wasn't and was looking for a church where she could take her girls! I love Christmas miracles:) Last night we had another miracle! We had received a referral from Ward council. He is less active but is starting to make his way back to church. We went and knocked, but there was no answer. So we decided to try his neighbors. They immediately let us in and were just so kind! We got to share the Christmas message of A Savior Is Born and they loved it. They wanted us to come back! After zone meeting we went out to lunch as a zone and President came out with us! It was so fun just to talk to him! President Passey just is the best, I am so grateful to have him as my mission president. Have an amazing week!
