Happy Thanksgiving!
I want to do a special email this week to celebrate this wonderful
holiday. I hope its okay for me to share some the things I am grateful
for.
1. I'm grateful for my mom and my dad. Words can't describe how much I
love them! I always tell me companions that when I see my parents, I
am running so hard into their arms and never letting go! :) They have
done so much for me, and my love for them is like looking at the
ocean. It never ends.
2. I am so grateful and love my siblings. My two sisters, Anna and
Kay. And my three brothers, Luke Dan and Keith. Those five are my
closest friends. I love you guys and am so grateful I get you guys as
my best friends for all eternity. You five are my examples.
3. Aunts, Uncles, my dear Ouma and new grandma, and my cousins. I love
how close we are, and am so excited to be with all of you for
eternity. From Lily to Uncle Glen to Morag I love you all! I feel so
blessed to have you. And I am so grateful to have my two sisters Marny
and Clara with me in the mission field.
4. I am grateful for this glorious earth. The beautiful green trees
that cover Nogales, the Arizona clouds that look like the tides of the
ocean, the sea itself, and the mountains.
5. I am grateful for all my amazing friends. The friends I have had,
and the friendships I have made. I can't imagine my life without the
opportunity that I have had to meet who I have met! My heart is just
full.
6. I am grateful for my savior. For his atonement. I would be nothing
without Him. He is my rock, my foundation, and my everlasting source
of peace. If I have learned one thing on my mission, is that the peace
we can find from the savior is powerful. The mission can be really
hard at times. There are times when you can feel so alone. But we have
to remember to cast our eyes upward. If we do, we will forget about
the crashing waves around us. And we will see him. He who is called
Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, Everlasting Father, The Prince
of Peace. We have no need to fear, because with Him all things are
possible. With him, we have everything.
I love you all so much and hope you have the greatest thanksgiving!
Please keep the Diaz family in your prayers! We found them this week.
The mom is a member, but her four teenage children and husband aren't!
She truly has been prepared and is so ready to come back to church.
Miracles happen when you work with members.

P.S thank you again for all the birthday wishes! :)
