Hi Family:)
Well this week as a big one! On Thursday evening at 7, our dear friend
Ramon entered into the waters to be baptized! Then this past Sunday he
was confirmed a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints. :) It was absolutely crazy to see the difference from the
first day we saw him walking on the side of the road with a big back
pack on his back! The baptism was beautiful and we received a lot of
support from our little branch! Elder Baker and I did a duet to I know
that my redeemer lives with Hermana Beatty on the piano, and mom would
be so proud.. Totally had a solo. ;)
We also had zone conference this past week. Words can describe how
much I love Sister Passey and President! They are such amazing
teachers and blow my mind every time. I also got to see a lot of
missionaries from my last area which was soooo fun, like Sister
Thomas. I don't know if I explained but Sister Thomas is best friends
with a sister who was in my first area in Peru! When we saw each other
we must ran straight to each other and wouldn't let go for like five
minutes haha!
Also, Hermano Zetino was baptized! I had been talking to their family
since I left, and next week he will be given the priesthood and he
will baptize his son, Ricardo. I sure hope that one day I can come
back when they will be sealed in the temple! They were so sweet, they
told me they wanted me to come and live with them after the mission!
So sweet.
Well, things are going really well in Deming. :) we have transfers
next week and I am pretty sure I will be staying in Deming for another
transfer while Hermana Beatty will probably be transferred!
Love you lots fam fam! Know you are in my prayers :)
Hermana Rachie Rache Hubert
Sister Thomas, sister jones, mi compañera, y yo! Oh and elder Chu Shing! Elder Chu Shing is from New Zealand and we were talking about rugby and he was like, "yeah I have seen the clips of your brother playing... He is way good." #proudsister :)
