Happy Monday!
This week I just really feel the need to testify of the love that the
Savior has for us. I know He lives, and He truly is watching over us.
He is preparing the way before us and wherever we are right now-
weather in Idaho, Nebraska, Deming, Arizona, Alaska, Utah, South
Africa, Chile, Brazil, Canada, or even New York- he has prepared
people for us. People that we can serve and who need our guidance. As
well, he has prepared people to help us.
He has a plan for us that has been prepared. He knows the way, we just
have to trust enough to follow it. What if I never came home? I never
would have been able to create and improve relationships I did.
Relationships that I appreciate so much being out here! I felt l have
come so much closer to all of you because of that trial of coming
home. And what if I never came back out here? I never would have met
these people who have changed my life. Companions, investigators,
members. I can't imagine my life without them! The family Setino, the
Vejars, Karlee, the Navarros, President Passey, Nery, Hna Broderick,
Hna Sutherland.. The list goes on and on. But most importantly,
Through the trials I have been given I have come to know my Savior
Jesus, Christ.
Sometimes we are given trials that really bring us low. And we wonder
why we have them. Sometimes we feel even abandoned or unloved by our
Heavenly Father. But I testify that We have a loving Heavenly Father
who loves us enough to bring us low so we can lift us higher. Our
trials make us stronger, I testify of that with my whole heart. I am
so grateful for that little "refiners fire" I had to go through with
Peru because it changed me for the better. Sometimes we may want to
turn away from our Heavenly Father when we are put in our refiners
fires. I promise that is the exact opposite of what we need to do. We
need to turn to the savior and his atonement, because his atonement
will carry us when we feel we can't go any further. I testify with my
whole heart that this is true. I have felt the power of the atonement
carry me when I felt I had nothing left to give. I promise that we can
overcome all through Christ that loves us. And I promise that one day,
we are all going to look back and be grateful. We will be happy. One
day we will say, "It was all worth it." I truly look forward to that
day. Love you all so much.
Con todo mi corazón,
Rache
P.s oh special shout out to my papa for Father's Day. You're the best
dad I could have ever asked for!
