I think our Heavenly Father has a love for His trees. Recently, I have
discovered a pattern of our Heavenly Father. I want to focus on 3
evidences of this pattern.
Eve, the mother of all living. She was chosen to be the first to
partake and put the plan into action. With the atonement as the
driving force behind that plan, her act of faith was in a rich garden
in the midst of so many trees. With the gift of agency, I think she
was able to see the consequences of her actions. I think she saw the
glimpse of new life, family, and knowledge. I think she must have
known that there was a price. Wouldn't you have asked, "Is there no
other way?" Was there another way where the plan could be achievable
without the price being paid? No, there was no other way. So, Eve,
courageously lifted her eyes to the heavens and embraced every ounce
of faith she had to partake. I wonder if Adam, who when he was called
Michael and created the world with Jehovah, knew. If he knew what was
the requirement of His dearly Beloved Brother, Jehovah. But, he too
came to the realization that he had to partake. And from that one
transgression, that one act of faith, the doors were opened for all of
Gods spirit children to come to Earth. To receive a body, to be tried
and tested. To laugh and to cry. To be happy and to feel sorrow. To
feel love and to gain light. To become like our Father. All in a
garden of trees.
Our Beloved Brother and His Beloved Son. His perfect hands clung to
the roots of the trees He Himself created. Grasping, crying, and
panting with each drop of blood falling from every pore. With all Hell
against him in these critical moments and where all men's salvation
hung, He suffered there. For the little boy who you saw on the street
this morning, for the man who slammed the door in our faces, and for
the old aged woman who yelled at us that He was only a man. He
suffered there for each and everyone of us individually. And even
though the pain and the suffering was so much that even God trembled,
He still did it. He still atoned. The apostles give an account of His
humbling prayer in the garden, "Father, if thou be willing, remove
this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." We
read His prayer once, but I wouldn't be surprised if these words were
spoken and pleaded multiple times during these trembling moments. He
suffered there beyond comprehension for each and everyone of us. For a
moment, He suffered there for you. The most important, the most
critical, the most historic moment in all time. All in a grove of
trees.
A beautiful Spring morning, a lovely spring morning. A boy of the age
14 reverently took a journey into a sacred grove. Step by step he was
led, as angels above anxiously awaited the marvelous, the perfect, the
first vision of a young boy. Birds sang, trees hovered, and the sun
hummed as two knees touched the surface of the earth. Humble words
were spoken, faith was brought to the surface. Two glorious beings
whose glory and brightness defy all description descended. The God of
the whole Earth, the a heavens, the galaxies, and the God of every
spiritual being came down with His Only Begotten Son. Two perfectly
glorified beings came down from there thrones to answer a question of
a young boy whom they loved ever so deeply. They came to open this
last dispensation. The message was delivered. "This is My Beloved Son,
Here Him!" All in a grove of trees.
On a pretty Friday morning here in Deming, my companion and I taught
our dear friend Ramon. I looked above me and saw the sun shining
through a great big oak tree. We saw the light shine from him as we
told him he would be baptized on the 20 of August. I am so excited for
this day! Please keep our little branch and Ramon in your prayers!
Love you all so much!
